I recently designed a new business card for myself and I wanted an image that really said 'animaton'. So, I thought it would be more appropriate to use a sequence of images. I grabbed some key poses from an unfinished dialog test for Mr. Pruiksma's class, and cleaned them up and colored them. Here is the result-

So yesterday I got a chance to visit one of the biggest entertainment conventions; the San Diego comic-con.
Here are some highlights-

I missed the Ashley Wood signing by about 15 minutes, and although he was still there talking with folks I didn't want to bother him with signing anything else. Here was some of his stuff; amazing-

A 1/1 scale replica of Night Owl's ship. I guess him and Rorschach crash landed earlier, too bad I missed It. Also I hope Zack Snyder doesn't ruin this one, I am sure Alan Moore feels some dissent to all his works becoming movies. After all I never saw him name on "V for Vendetta", or any of the ads for "The Watchmen". Oh well I'm sure he got his.

So I figured this blog would be a good venue to quote artists and people I admire, and heres the first one-

I have always loved the look and feel of old black and white, heavy inked, and xeroxed flyers, zines, and underground comics. After hanging out at my friend Mane's house, we decided I should try and bring this style back. This was mostly a reaction to lame cut and paste photoshop flyers that have been given little effort, that were and still are circulating the bboy community. With Mane's encouragement, and some old 'StyleRock flyers' Storm had given him from the 90's I was inspired and ready to go-
